Hi

LFT i think is liver function test, TFT is definately thyroid function (i have had loads of them!), CRP is c reative protein, FAP Familial Adenomatous Polyposis, glucuse i would have thought is diabetes, U&E is urea and electrolytes.

I have had to just google most of them to find out so if you would like to know more about each test Dr Google can help

xx

Women with recurrent losses are in a different category. I understand why you would want to reach out to women on this thread for advice, but your situations are very different from ours. I'm very sorry for your losses, and I'm not trying to be mean, I'm simply trying to protect this thread and keep it relevant to recurrent losses.
this is true, however one is just as bad as two or three, still painful no matter how you look at it. I don't know who else is new But I was just looking for some hope thi cycle and this would be # 5 if I indeed did MC.

Actually, any loss is awful, but to say one is as bad as two, three or more, is just not right. Surely you didn't feel the same after your 4th loss as you did your 1st? The wonders of what is wrong with you? Will I ever have my forever baby? Will my relationship ever be the same? The numbness of thinking it will never happen for you? Others avoiding you because they don't know how to "deal" with people who have lost multiple babies. The list goes on and on.....

Most women who have one loss will go on to have a healthy pregnancy the next time. The same cannot be said for those of us that are RPL.

There are dozens of threads for those people with one loss. This is the only one we have and we have every right to have others respect that. That is all.

All this doesn't apply to you since you have had 4 losses already. So what kind of testing have you had and have they found any reasons for your losses?

Hi Freebird. Anybody with 5 miscarriages is definitely in the right place here.
Lee, sorry you are feeling so cack today.
Amos I hope AF shows her ugly mug so you can get on with iui and get god damn preggers.
MrsKg how frustrating to hear of your ex's ex and her irresponsible ways.
Sara, space cadet...hate to tell you it never gets any better!! Great to see you and hope all is well.
Melfy how bloody awful for you.
Heart....
Hope everyone else is well. Bugger all to report from me, boring part of my cycle, day 8 of a 28 day cycle, I will probs ovulate on day 17 so almost time to start getting the boys on manoeuvres ready to get them in the barracks. OH has man flu thorough *cue violins* so I'll give him a day or 2 to recover.

I understand whaat you mean, however with the first one I felt that way. I haven't had any testing done I am afraid to I guess :/ My mother only had two children which is great but she really wanted more She ended up with a complete hysterectomy at a very early age then followed by her two younger sisters as well. I don't want to know if there is a problem that would result in this for me and I am not at all ready to know ugh. So I'll just keep on TTC'ing

Hi everyone!!!!!! Back from my "month off". Tested BFN yesterday so went off progesterone and waiting for AF tomorrow. It wasn't any easier taking a month off since we still technically tried as I know my body very well and I am very regular, so it was still another month of hope only to be crushed. However, after a very long talk this week, DH and I decided we are going to investigate IVF. I have an app with my RE on June 1 and I am telling him I want a referral to the IVF clinic (18 hours from here or an hour and a half by plane). The wait list is a few months then another few before the IVF cycle starts so hopefully I will have a BFP by Christmas. SO terrified that it won't work though as it will be about 20 thousand dollars by the time all is said and done.
How is everyone?! Can I get a quick update? It has only been a month but it feels like I have been away forever!
