hi ladies. i havent read a whole lot of what's going on but think i might need to be around some people who understand soon - although i feel calm right now. i know it is going to be a tough road coming up here for me. i'm going through a second mc. i guess mmc is a more proper name. each time i knew it was over, but my body holds on. i remember what a long and emotional road it was last time (in september). this time i was supposed to be due december 3. i was so sure this time it would work out, but nervous all the time. ive just gotten a fourth hcg blood test result back and it was around 3000 when it should have been 15000. so at least i know.... but hcg levels havent fallen yet and last time, even with no hcg, it took over a month to bleed and then another 6 months for my cycles to make sense again. in fact, now, about five months later was the first really normal cycle i had, when i got pregnant again, after trying the whole time. and i should mention feeling pregnant for months after the september mc. thank you for being here. hugs to those experiencing hard times like me and super huge congrats to those of you on the up and up. xo

Just! Amazing news and for you too Sara! Lovely scans!

Filli - congratulations chick! BFP Wahooo

Amos... are you needing me to have a strong talk to your right ovaries?.... Cos I can you know... scare them into growing!

Lee sweety, so sorry that you have this added stress. We are all thinking of you xx

Mrskg.... it was ages back, but I think you asked how many losses I had - 6 in total, 4 single babies and a set of twins.

I have had 2 MMC, 1 blighted ovum and 3 I lost in the normal bloody painful way. I have had 3 D&C's, 1 ERPC and a natural - which was the most awful experience for me ever. However, every one is different aren't they.

Hi Heart x

Sorry for your losses Horsey, if anyone understands you we all do x

Hi all I hope someone can answer a few questions I have..

I've recently had my 3rd mc and was wondering what the next steps are to see why I had been mc

I have had 1 successful pregnancy with my daughter who is nearly 2 now and had no complications at all apart from an awful birth and ended up with a forceps delivery, could that labour have something to do with why I've been mc?

Hi Miss,
I would doubt that your labour would be the cause of your m/cs.
If you have had 3 then you should get your GP to refer to a recurrent miscarriage clinic, who will then be able to test you for the common causes of m/c.
I am sorry you are going through this, make sure you are firm with your GP as they can be reluctant to refer.

Good luck

It is a year today since my scan where Riley Rae had died. The sonographer didnt realise, and was saying here is the head but because I had Honey's scan before I recognised the stillness, I screamed not again.

God I miss her so very much girls.

Hi ladies, I havn't really been on this site for about 18 months but I used to be on here all the time researching recurrant miscarriages and offering / recieving support - it really was my lifeline. I had 5 miscarriages after already having one successful pregnancy. my miscarriages were between age 21-23, alot of doctors try to blame it on age, not always true!
Anyway, just wanted to say, please dont give up home. We got our sticky on pregnancy no 6! It was a long road but so worth the wait
I found a clinic in London St Marys hospital which specialises in recurrant miscarriage and they are fantastic! If you can travel there ask ur consultant for a reffereal. There tests are more in depth and you recieve weekly scans then you fall pregnant next time plus they will set you a care plan to do everything possible to substain the next pregnancy.
Anyway, good luck and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Aadly it can be a very cruel waiting game until you are blessed with that one strong little life but it will be so worth the wait and heartache
Be kind to yourselves....
xxxx
