TDK - I wish our bodies would return to normal straight after a m/c. It's so tough. I hope things sort out for you soon.

afm - got a bfn today. What I hate is that lately I've been getting shadow lines on my FRERs. This has been happening for weeks so I know it's not the precursor to a bfp. I can see a faint line if I hold the test up close and it even shows up before the control line so I get excited for a few moments and then it just stays as a grey shadow. It doesn't help I keep getting my usual tell-tale preggo signs. Feeling a bit pyscho, to be honest. Only 2 more days until my appointment.

I'm worried the OB won't refer me to the fertility clinic because my 3 losses weren't three in a row (the doctors never count my lost twin so I never bother mentioning it anymore).

Ask away, most packets have an allergy advice section under the ingredients these days so normally will say there, it will say gluten, egg, soya, milk, or peanuts.

Gluten is in barley and wheat products so you're looking for anything that says barley or wheat too. Malt vinegar is a no no, we buy pickled onions and use that vinegar

I found the most gorgeous cookies the other day, tesco finest white chocolate and cranberry. They are the nicest I have ever tried and I've tried lots.

Warburtoms do wraps in tesco that are really nice, so are the pitta.

What supermarket do you normally shop at

Xx

If you ever pass a sainsbury, nip in and have a peep, their range is a lot bigger. We shop at aldi and gluten free for sainsbury

You can only get brown sauce and soy sauce gluten free in sainsbury and cereal is nicer from their too

Bisto best gravy granules in jar are gluten free

I need to make a word document so I can email it
As I keep thinking of things.

Rice flour makes really nice pancakes, nicer than normal flour

I'm going to stop thinking of things, I'm on hol next week in Norfolk so will write it all out

Sick with allergies but now I'm getting pg symptoms as well. I just got my BFN after my last m/c on August 2nd so it seems impossible that I could be pg again already. I know it's not totally IMPOSSIBLE and it HAS been 4 weeks since my D&C but I get like this every.single.time.I.miscarry so you'd think I'd know better. I tested 3 times (!!) today because my fmu test this morning had a very faint line on it. I *think* it had color but it's faded since the test dried out and, even though you can still see the line, you can't tell the color. The other two tests were similar, just a slighter lighter line but still a line and hard to tell color. My gut is saying they are all evaps but my heart is saying otherwise. The other thing is I wasn't supposed to ttc if I wanted the hysteroscopy done. (although I requested it, the dr didn't order it) But DH and I figured we'd be okay this month as I haven't ov'd until cycle 2 after a m/c so we didn't pay attention to if/when I could have ov'd. Feeling really sick and crampy right now on top of a migraine and dragon breathe heartburn...Stressed out too as our house renovations took a minor hit today and I'm running on fumes from lack of sleep (5-6 hour nights for over a week).

Blah...I feel like all I do is post ranty posts every few days and I totally ignore all the other conversation stuff going on in here. You ladies are probably getting sick of me already. I am sorry. And now I'm ready to cry over my rant because it's so very much about me... (Can I add being an emotional basket case to my list of possible pg symptoms? *sigh*)

In an attempt to get back into the conversation here, I have dabbled in the GF area myself. I bought GF bread just for me and kept everyone else on wheat bread but we switched our breakfast cereals to GF oatmeal and corn flakes. I made soups with beans or potatoes instead of noodles, I found a GF mix I really like for pancakes, stocked up on nut-based crackers and we started to eat more salads/veggies at supper instead of bread and rolls. It was hard but eventually I found substitutions I could live with-like my new fave pizza crust made with millet and flax. Fell off the GF wagon a few months ago but I'm getting motivated to try it again because my weight really went down and over the last month or so those pounds have crept back on.
