currently experiencing my second miscarriage.

Has anyone been able to get any tests after 2 rather than waiting for a third?

In the uk I think if you're over 35 then you get tests sooner but not if you are younger.

I did after my 2nd miscarriage but because I was 18 weeks into the pregnancy. I only had the APS/sticky blood test which came back normal.

Hi lightweight. Sorry for your loss. I'm in the same place currently having my second miscarriage. My doctor is going to start the testing as soon as this one is complete. So hopefully your doctor will help you out too! Good luck.

Hi - yes I went to see midwife in EPAU today - and because I'm 39 they started the process immediately and too all the bloods and vaginal swab to do the test and gave me a referral letter to take to GP.

hi girls, just joined this thread, i lost baby num 5 on wednesday 14th may 2010, for the last 2 i was on baby asprin n clexane but to no avail, thinning my blood out has done nothing except make me bleed more after the losses, im absolutly devastated, lol78 i had no af between babies 4 n 5, i got told off at the hos, but we had actually taken precautions as i didnt want to get an infection after losing baby 4, it didn't work for me, but i hav a very good friend who fell preg immediatly after a mc n her daughter was born very healthy, so to be honest i think it just depends on luck n nature, as my husband says " if it wasn't for bad luck me n him wouldn't hav any" although i'd rather hav no luck than all bad... good luck to u all i hope things work out...donna xxx

Hi Ladies. Well I have just had miscarriage number 3 confirmed at 9+6. They think the heart stopped at about 8+5. I am booked in for an ERPC tomorrow or Tuesday and not sure what to expect. I took baby aspirin this time and got further than the previous 2 pregnancies, but still not far enough by a long shot!

Hi girls

So sorry for the newcomers on this thread. I have got a BFP but feel as positive as a wet firework. I just cannot convince myself im gonna be ok. My treatment will start on Wednesday.

Lamburai, maybe you need the Heparin as well it sounds like a blood clotting prob. Have you had any tests yet ?

Good news on the BFP fluffyblue. I totally understand your lacking enthusiasm - it gets so hard to get excited over something that might not happen. But I will keep everything crossed for you and wish you all the best. I haven't had tests yet, but will ask about heparin. I'll give anything a go!

Hi ladies. I've also had 2 m/c in six months. The most recent was in April. I had the genetic testing done and my only abnormal result was one of the blood clotting tests. They put me on baby aspirin.

Does anyone here already have children? I have a four-year-old and experienced a text book pregnancy with her. Absolutely no scares or complications. We haven't been as lucky for number two.
