Recurrent Miscarriage Thread

Hi Cobi. Sorry for your losses. 18 weeks - I can't imagine how hard that will have been for you. These girls are the most supportive, loving, and hilarious bunch you will ever meet on a forum. I'm very glad I found myself here and I hope you will too. I hope we can support you in your journey to your forever baby.

Hello Everyone

I'm back here again. This pregnancy turned out to be a blighted ovum. I don't buy it bc I'm blaming it on my ob. When he did my pap they didn't ask me to pee in a effing cup. Then prescribed me some antibiotics that were so bitter that probably would've killed anything growing. If I had of given a urine sample that day they would have know I was pregnant.

The gestational sac and yolk sac are measuring 8 weeks 3 days but no baby. I have not spotted or bleed not a wink. I have been scheduled for a Suction D&C on Monday. I might just wait to pass it naturally just to see if there was never a baby. Hcg levels are through the roof but no baby. I have never had this happened (Blighted Ovum). He told me to wait 1 period then try again taking on Folic Acid 1 mg 3x a day.

I'm fine with everything though. I have peace in my heart. My goal is to loose about 70 lbs. He said the less I weighed the more eggs I would produce. I agree bc every time I get on a diet I get pregnant. I'm waiting til the month of Oct. This time I will calendar every time I have sex bc I get so sick of them asking when do u think u conceived???

Maybe next I will be 6 time lucky. The Ob said you're til young, just keep trying. I turned 36 a month ago and no kids yet. I told him as long as I know that God allowed Sarah to bear a child for Abraham at 90, anything is possible.

I'm gonna get on clomid so that I can have twins and be done with it!! Ok, enough of me. Good Luck everyone!!!

My partner's niece was visiting today witb her 3 week old... I felt really detatched from the whole event.. lovely baby but couldn't get excited for her and just wondered would I be excited if he were mine? Or am I just protecting myself from feeling clucky around babies..

Hi, I'm tiff - we haven't "met"

I am in total shock right now. Can't believe they skipped that step - it's protacal for all gyno visits to check peepee for pregnancy! Us girls are always peeing in cups.

and we are NOT young anymore -the ads on tv make that quite clear.

gosh I hope you go to a different OB.

I'm right there with you on the losing weight thing. I've gained 30 lbs starting with my first failed pregnancy and to this one my 3rd. I've been reading all over the place that losing 10 - 20 percent of body weight will help with fertility.

Interesting to hear that you get preggers everytime you drop weight. Sure gives me hope. dang darn low AMH!

I'm heading down stairs to do some P90x 1 1/2 hours of yoga and the ab ripper.

How are you doing? I noticed your status was crappy.

I was feeling low earlier and then I took my hostility and put it in the kitchen. Literally.

I made a tiff creation: carrot/pumpkin/butternut squash puree soup with chopped asparagus, sauteed fresh basil, cracked pepper, fresh garlic, spices, mascarpone, and fake crab mixed in - HOLEESHIT it is good.

Fricken gourmand good. I rule the kitchen today.

The house smells amazing.

I am full and in a better mood.

Hope you find your outlet today and put a little smile on your face.

You are right about the cup deal. That was the first pap I've ever had and didn't have to pee in a cup. When I called her back and informed her about me not peeing in a cup, that's when I was told to come in and that's when I got a positive test. I had already taken some of the pills already.

I will definitely let you know about my weight loss results. I normally go to a weight loss clinic and get a b-12 shot and appetite suppressant. I also have a gym membership.

Thank you Mandy!!! It sure does suck getting up this far with nothing growing in your belly but a gestational sac and yolk sac. Amazing how my body is still holding onto this pregnancy without signs or systems.

Next pregnancy, I'm gonna wait 2 months b4 I see a doctor. I have come to realize that what can the doctor do to save you???? Answer: NOTHING!!!
Save some gas, and KEEP some HOPE!!!!

Good girl, so sorry to hear what happened. I'm sort of lucky because both my losses bled straight away, I cant imagine how it must feel to discover that at the ultrasound.
Tiff, that sounds lovely! I'm feeling crappy, my OH didn't get the job, I have been feeling ill and lost my voice, but I like Fridays, I am busy, the day goes quickly and hopefully the last few days of the 2ww will pass quickly.
