New Here - 17 weeks pg - threatened miscarriage

Hi all, this is my first time to this site and already i feel overwhelmed by the stories and experiences i have read. And firstly would like to say my love and thoughts are with each of you and your angels.

Ive come here today as im 17 weeks gone with my first and long awaited pregnancy, however last week at 16 weeks I started to lose blood.
After a visit to the epu and a scan etc I was advised to go back for a follow up apt 17th July as it is possible I am having a threatened miscarriage, so have to go back for bloods to check hcg levels and another scan.

I have come on this site as I feel at a complete loss, I am so so scared of apt tomorrow, dont know who to turn to, It sounds silly but knowing other ppl on here have had similar experiences is comforting, I just pray for good news tomorrow.

I'm praying for good news for you too, no-one deserves to lose a child.

I was told lots of women bleed during their pregnancies and mostly they are fine

When i started bleeding my nan told me (apparent words of wisdom) 'don't meet trouble halfway'. I think this means not to worry before its happened!! Old people ey?
