Me and my husband had not had sex for 4 months when we first thought I was pregnant. Turns out it was a molar pregnancy.
Last night we had unprotected sex and I have my D&C tomorrow for my molar pregnancy? My husband and I just wanted to be with each other one last time in case something could go terribly wrong in the surgery. We love each other alot and I hope I didn't make a bad decision...
My questions are:
1. Has anyone died during a DnC surgery for molar pregnancy? I've been stressed for weeks, thinking I won't be able to wake up after anesthesia or perhaps severe blood loss.
2. Since me and my husband had intercourse, can he develop cancer from the cysts in my uterus? Or are there any complications like can I get pregnant again even though I am technically pregnant now? My surgery isn't until tomorrow...
Thanks Nim for the reassurance,
I am glad to hear this and I will sleep better tonight. After my surgery, I plan not to have sex for at least three weeks just to be on the safe side. Besides, it sounds painful after the procedure is finished anyways. We"ll take birth control once we are finally ready to have I intercourse again.
Sorry you had two go through 2 DnCs, Nim. I can't imagine what you went through and it saddens me to see a lot of women experiencing this. Sometimes t makes me wish I was a male, lol. If only the husbands/bfs knew what we have to go through as a woman..
