How long after a D&C/MC do you lose the baby "bloat"?
I had a D&C at 8.5 weeks and I had already got some baby "bloat" around my stomach (I was quite slim before getting pregnant). Especially after eating, I did look like I had a proper baby bump, which is still there. How long will it take before the bloating goes down?
Hi there, Sorry to hear of your loss. I am in the same boat as you apart from I had a medically induced miscarriage last monday rather than a D&C. My baby died at 8 weeks 6 days. I too had started to get the baby bloat and was struggling to get my trousers done up. A week on and my stomach is flat as a pancake again.
My baby died at 8 weeks, I was supposed to be 11. But I think it will take a little bit of time. If mine passed at 8 and it was starting to go down at the beginning of 11, it might take a little bit of time. I know that mine is pretty much gone, along with all my pregnancy symptoms. Good luck to you, Im sorry for your loss.
