Early MC- bleeding

Today I was supposed to be 6+4, the doctor only saw a sac measuring 4-5 weeks, and low bets confirmed a MC is inevitable.
I started spotting yesterday, and today it's more like a period flow. A few clots here and there, but mainly medium flow.
I've been getting stronger AF cramps, and was wondering what to expect.
I know the sac is very small, will I even see it? will I feel it come out or will it just pass as a clot? should the bleed be like a heavier period?
I have to work tomorrow and don't want to be surprised.
I feel so broken

First off, I am sorry you are going through this.

My first miscarriage was early - about 4.5 weeks - and it felt very similar to AF and lasted a long as AF then stopped completely. My second was closer to 8 weeks and had to be induced. Both passed as clots and I was unable to see anything else. For me, when I have cramps, I like to sit on the toilet and let clots pass in the water so I can flush them. I also find this more comfortable. With the second, I did have another episode of clotting about 3 days after the miscarriage. For me, this was because a clot was near the cervix and didn't want to pass right away (not products of conception, just normal blood that formed into a clot as a period does). Once that passed there were some more clots and I had some more bleeding.

It's a bit different for everyone. Just take it easy, wear pads, and if you have to leave work then leave work. If you feel like going then go.

And just so you know, most women do not have 2 miscarriages in a row. You will see plenty of us on this site, but the stats are much smaller than they seem. Your chances of having a successful pregnancy after a miscarriage are really high. (When you are ready.)

Signatures don't show in this forum, but it is my second MC
I previously had a MMC and had a D&C. I'm glad this is happening naturally. A D&C is quick and painless, but knowing what happens...

I think I passed most of it, I don't want to be too graphic, but when I wiped and got a load of blood and clots on the paper, there was a small speck of white. It's curled up with a bigger portion on top and the tail like towards the bottom. It's just white. I tore the paper off and don't know what to do with it. I'd take a picture but it's so tiny.
If it is the fetus, or it isn't, I can't just flush it. I don't know what to do with it.
I'm still having painful cramps every now and then. I have a feeling it will be over soon. I'll probably leave early tomorrow.
Thank you

I don't know if you live somewhere where you can. I might have buried mine if I could have, but I live in an apartment. Also, I was told to bring mine in for testing. I was given a jar to put it in, that had this clear liquid in it.

Since you have had more than one m/c you can have it tested for chromosomal issues. This can give you insight into why you are miscarrying - potentially. My doc did not tell me this until after I miscarried. It's a tough option but a good one. You may want to ask your doctor about this if it's not too emotionally difficult.

In the research I did after finding out I was going to miscarry, everything I read said they would do testing after three miscarriages in a row.

Hi Nina83, just wanted to say I'm so sorry for your loss and my heart literally breaks for you. I'm trying to conceive after waiting 2 AF's after a Feb MMC and am entering my 3rd cycle trying.

I was 8 weeks and 10 weeks when I took misoprostol. My son grew to 8w0. I was able to see him and he looked like a baby half the size of my index finger, tiny leg buds, you could see through his tiny chest and the little lungs in a flash photo.

I think what you saw was definitely your sweet baby. I was able to bury mine under our oak...could not flush. Prayers and hugs am here always if you want to talk 3333333333

I lost it. I had it on a little piece of toilet paper, and it must have dropped or something when I moved something out of the way. I can't believe I lost it, DH was mad when I showed him, later he said it scared him.
I'm just so angry with myself that I didn't immediately put it in the soil, and just waited.
