Last August, I was so excited to find out I was pregnant. My 1st scan went great. The night before my 2nd scan I had a dream that I went to the bathroom and saw blood when I wiped. I woke up afraid but ultimately just chalked it up to crazy hormone dreams. When we went in to my 2nd scan, the doctor said my baby had stopped growing since my last visit. I felt betrayed by my own body because I was still having pregnancy symptoms. The next day I had a D&C. But I thought it was so strange that I had that dream.
Fast forward to now, and I'm pregnant again and I'm early at 6 weeks. Tonight I had another dream within a dream where the same thing happened. In the first part it was just like before but in the second part I was determined to prove I was still pregnant and I peed on a stick and the stick broke and I made a mess everywhere. But I eventually got a positive in my dream.
I know this all sounds crazy. But I'm so worried. I don't know what to do and my husband doesn't get it. I'm trying not to let fear win but I just can't bear the thought of losing this baby too. I see some moms that have experienced more than 2 loses and I don't know how they deal with it or move on. Please tell me not to look into my dreams? I need some clarity and just positive vibes or something!
I never thought I would post in a forum but I'm the first of my friends to be trying and I have no one to ask these silly questions.
The dream means absolutely nothing. I had a miscarriage too and with my second pregnancy I had many similar dreams. It's just a product of your anxiety. My twins were born safe and healthy. Hang in there.
Dreams are just your minds way of releasing anxiety . They mean only that . No deeper meaning . Good luck with your appointment . For what it is worth I had crazy vivid dreams in my pregnancies ... Scary ones too but all was just fine
Sorry for your loss. Try to stay positive. I hope this is your rainbow baby
Dreams develop from our subconscious minds so if you are worried about something it can cause you to dream about it. If all my dreams came true I would have died in a zombie apocalypse by now! Thankfully, they are just dreams!
