Confusing miscarriages

I have had recurring miscarriages and am wondering if anyone had any similar experiences. I feel so confused and lost.

I had a missed miscarriage a few years ago. I knew initially that I was pregnant and something was wrong. I had gotten positive tests at home, and then later they became negative and dr's bloodwork was negative. My symptoms continued and my doctor kept insisting that I was never pregnant or it'd have shown on the bloodwork. I knew I wasn't crazy. I suffered for 4 months until I started to pass tissue which they sent away for testing and led them to confirm that I was actually pregnant and they missed it. They said that sometimes women fall under their lab ranges and go undetected. I had a D&C and then my symptoms stopped. Each of my (now 6) miscarriages has been similar to this except not all were as long. Every time this happens I feel like they are looking at me like I am just imagining it because my labs are never positive.

I am certain I'm experiencing a miscarriage right now, but my labs are negative again. I had all the symptoms of pregnancy and now have all for miscarriage. The dr cannot confirm that I was but said I know my own body and I am a unique case. Still makes me feel upset and doubtful of myself at times, I don't understand.

Has this happened to anyone else? I feel so alone.

I didn't want to read and run. I'm so sorry you're going thru this and they still even question you. Have you had a scan during any of these?

Oh Im so sorry. Theres nothing more frustrating than knowing somethings not right with your body and a 'dr' dismisses it. Have you seen different drs? Or seen a fertility specialist?

Ive had recurrent miscarriages as well about 5-6 and its really heartbreaking i totally understand and i know your extra frustrated because the doctors cant even confirm your pregnancies. I think you would benefit from a fertility specialist or someone who can evaluate you a little more closely. Im pregnant now 10 weeks and everything is going ok ive never gotten this far. So there is hope for us! Dont give up.

Thank you. During the four month ordeal, they gave me an ultrasound once too early on and could not see anything, and then did not give me any other investigations until I passed the tissue that was sent to pathology. I know they were doing what they felt necessary but it pains me to know they could have discovered it sooner. I was only offered an ultrasound with one other miscarriage because I had an IUD at the time I had a positive home test. The rest they left me to fend for myself as we were only seeing negatives on the labs.

Thank you. It is very frustrating. I have seen two specialists who are aware my body 'does weird things' this way. My partner this time does not even believe I had a miscarriage because of my negative lab result, he doesn't think it's physically possible to be negative and still have been pregnant. I was referred for a fertility clinic but had to cancel as we broke up and the clinic will not see me without a partner. I have so many questions they won't answer for me alone.

So sorry that you have had these heartbreaking losses as well. It is so difficult. I explained in another reply that the fertility clinic where I live will not see me without a partner, and I am now single. I feel more upset that I may not get the answers I need for a long time now. Congratulations on how far you have come, that is such wonderful news and I hope things continue to go smoothly for you!! Hearing that gives me hope that things could change, thank you for responding to me.

Sorry forgot to add to my post that for this miscarriage right now, a different doctor has now agreed to give me an urgent ultrasound to try and help determine what is happening and if I need any further treatment (if there is anything they can see).
