Not over it

Friday is my due date, I feel so broken.

Just had to get it out.

I'm so sorry

The due date is such a horrible, upsetting time, I know. I spent mine in tears emotional. I found the build up to that date so tough, but once it passed I felt a little better. Hopefully you'll find this too.

Sending you hugs

I'm sorry. I don't think you ever get over it. Like any form of grief you just find a new normal. That doesn't make those dates any easier though. My original due date is coming up tomorrow. I'm not finding it is bothering me as much as I feared it would, but I know when the anniversary dates of loved ones deaths come up it is all I can think about. I think on these days we just have to embrace that it is ok to feel however we feel and do whatever we need to do. Whether that is distraction, an act of remembrance, a small celebration, a quiet day alone, etc. It is different for every person and every situation.

Sending you hugs.
