Has she not been referred to tests? Ive heard a few people talking about st marys hospital in england that specialises in recurrent miscarriage, im sure that they would help if they could.Maybe she could write them a letter?

i find it very very hard to believe theyv reject her from all tests after 11 m/cs. all tests that are needed for RCM are available in this country, all hospitals do the basic tests. i cant think of anything that would prevent her from getting tests.

They only do the standed tests here in the uk the full blood panel and clotting panel but not the full immune tests unless you go private to have them done which is really expensive so i can see her point it should be available for all pg loss patients free at there local hospital - i have seen the full blood clotting list and for just one tests its a few hundred pounds its terrible. The goverment really should offer all the full immune panel tests.
St marys dont do the full immune tests - the only private hospitals that do them are the argc and care nottingham very expensive and then the treatment after wards cost a very lot of money.

I'm sorry, but though I have every sympathy for your friend, I don't agree that all of these tests should be done on the NHS (I have been through recurrent miscarriage).

Some of the tests listed by Diva are covered by standard NHS tests, but a number of the "immunological" blood tests (offered in only a few places in the UK) are controversial and costly, as are the treatments. Scientists and doctors don't agree on whether or not they are useful or scientifically valid. They are probably not free in other countries either.

There is an NHS clinical trial in Liverpool for the "natural killer cells" uterine biopsy, which is free to women who meet the criteria.

There is some useful information on the Human Fertility and Embryology Authority's website: http://www.hfea.gov.uk/fertility-tre...mmunology.html

And from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists http://www.rcog.org.uk/womens-health...line-means-you

why shouldnt they be done? everything should be done. I think all chromosomal tests should be done first as they are the most hardest to cure in RCM.

Thanks to everyone who has supported her or offered her information (or to inform other people just how mant tests CAN be done!)

She would like to thanks everyone who has supported her but i am going to remove this link and post due to some comments that I don't feel are supporting her at all and are more likely to upset her more than anything

Why not ? If you have had recurrent miscarriages then why are you not backing this petion all the way ? I know ladies who have lost children and its very sad to hear they have not been given a reason why due to funding!
All tests should be given wether your employed or not and the petion above states that i.e All pregnancy loss patients should get all tests free.

I feel very sorry for every lady who has had a loss so i highely recommend everyone who has had a loss to sign the above petion so that the goverment will look into this matter of unexplained pregnancy losses in greater detail covering all aspects every test every chromosomel test that the private hospitals do.

The nk cell at the hospital above is a womb biopsy which is hit and miss as they gather tissue as well so the test is not 100% accurate but the nk cell blood tests are and as the lady has stated they dont offer thesa tests at your local miscarriage clinic unless you go private.

Am sure the lady has done everything she can possible and i cant see the lady going out of her way by doing a petion if this was not the case hence there is quite a lot of people who have already signed it including me 11mc
she has been through the mill and back bless her and am sure she has a lot of knowledge on recurrent miscarriages i.e what tests there is out there to be done i.e researched.

2min of our time is helping everyone out there who suffer losses to get the proper help they need.

Your a true friend sammy for posting the link for your friend i hope people have a heart and sign this for your friend and all other people suffering a loss.
