Ectopic and so scared

Hello ladies, wanted to share my story
Am 6 weeks and started bleeding. My midwife and gp told me to wait it out but I went ahead and referred myself to local epu. Scan yesterday showed empty uterus and something in the left ovary. My hcg is 1600 so am being treated for ectopic. I have to go back tomorrow so they can recheck hcg, if it is still rising they will remove the tube.
Am terrified of this and the effect it will have on my fertility. The doc said yesterday that it won't affect my fertility and as I know this isn't true I have lost all faith in her. Hoping and praying that things will ' take care of themselves' and the hcg levels drop. My worry then is that maybe I will be left with a tube that isn't working. Really don't know what to think or hope for. I have never felt so awful about anything before.
Sorry for long story and 'offload'
Loads of hugs to everyone suffering a loss xx

Hope everything is OK tomorrow. I was also told the same. High hcg, nothing on scan, but when retested, hcg went down, so foetus had passed naturally. May not be the same for you, but don't want you to worry until you know tomorrow.

I had an ectopic pregnancy my first pregnancy. My docotor never caught it but in my heart I knew something was wrong and I got another doctor to do an ultrasound which they found the pregnancy in my tube. This new doctor was great b/c he acutally saved my life. My tube was already leaking blood out into my body. I didn't have my tube removed b/c he gave me the option to have a shot that would save my tube but unfortunatley terminate my pregnancy. I was 8 weeks along. I went on the next year to have a healthy pregnancy and delievered my little boy. Don't give up. You can have a healthy pregnancy after and ectopic pregnancy. Praying for you!

So sorry to hear you may be having an ectopic. Im the same, 6wks suspected ectopic, but my hcg is now only at 118 and progesterone gone from 99 to 25 so they now expect me to mc naturally but better than having to have treatment. It is an extremely difficult time, this will be my 3rd pregnancy loss. I will be having tests to check tubes. I know your scared about having a tube removed but if you think about, it will prevent an ectopic happening again. Im told if my tube is damaged and i need it removing, at least i wont experience ectopic again, because eggs will come from good side, so long term its not so bad. I dont want to lose a tube, but if it stops me having to go through all this again, then i'd do it tomorrow, I have no children and now ttc for 2 yrs. Its just a shame they leave you that long to check what the problem is. You will get over this with time, so will i and we will both go on to having a healthy lil baby that we love so much xx take care x
