I'm feeling a bit scared. This is my third miscarriage. The baby passed at 9 weeks 3 days on Thursday. I have a D&C scheduled for tomorrow morning. I now seem to be breaking out in a rash everywhere. The bumps are like pimples and they are everywhere- scalp, arms, legs abdomen, face. They hurt. It has never happened with any of my other experiences, and I'm worried my body is having some sort of reaction to the baby still being inside me. I haven't started using any new products and no bugs around that I'm aware of. There are more of them coming up by the hour. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Heard of it? I'm also bleeding more than usual if I touch them- like my blood is watery.
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
Skin rashes & spots are common symptoms of anxiety, so maybe stress is messing with your body? I would definitely go to a doctor to get it checked out.
I'm really sorry for your loss, I just had my first miscarriage & I can't imagine having to go through 3. I hope your healing process goes smoothly & you have all the support you need
tiger_tiger was right. I was told the rash was stress and hormone related. Major spike of hcg and progesterone just before the miscarriage with a rapid drop following, left my body confused. The procedure went fine. Very little pain. Lots of crying though... The rash is fading today. If anyone else gets a rash, try not to panic. It wasn't serious.
I just wanted to add I also got a huge blood rash all over my legs a few weeks after my miscarraige. Blood tests couldn't find anything wrong that would cause it.. So I guess it must be due to hormones
