Freaked out!

I had d&c last week and have been bleeding since then, like a period type.
I just went to the toilet and passed a big clot size of a golf ball :O
It didnt feel like blood though, more like tissue, so weird
is this normal!?

I'm so sorry for your loss, and I didn't want to read and run, but I haven't had a D&C with any of my mc's, so not sure what this could be. I would suggest ringing the hospital where you had it carried out - I was always given a help number when I had medical management, and they told me to ring with any questions. Otherwise I would get an emergency appointment at your GP, although in my experience they are not very clued up on these kind of things, and the hospital would be your best bet.

Did you have a follow up scan to see that your womb is empty? Perhaps if you go to your local EPU they could carry one out.

Hi didn't want to read and run. my miscarriage was normal at home one and I passed some really large clots a couple the size of my palm. I also passed some tissue. I don't know whats normal for a d&c though, sorry.

I'm sorry you are going through this. My post op instructions said to call the ER if I soaked through more than one pad an hour, bled for more than a week afterward, or passed any clots the size of golf balls or larger. Golf balls were mentioned specifically. Just call and check with your doctor. It can't hurt and it might help reassure you. Good luck.
