Bleeding again - is this normal

My ERPC was last Monday. I thought the bleeding had stopped yesterday as I didn't have any and the day before it was really, really minimal. I just went to the loo and there a little bit of brown blood in my underwear. It's probably the most I've had since last Wednesday or Thursday. Just wondering if this is normal as I thought it had stopped?

Hi Susan, the hospital told me a week to 10 days i believe but i was a bit longer than that and didn't worry too much about it.

Hi, I think this is pretty normal. I was lucky with mine, and only bled for about a week, some days heavier than others. I was told that it might last for 10 days, but not to worry unless you start to pass clots any bigger than a 10p piece. I think brown blood is pretty normal, someone told me once that that is the old stuff clearing out (TMI sorry).
Unless you have any pains or heavy bleeding, try not to worry.
You'll soon be on the mend

I have to ditty everyone else, susan. Dont worry, brown blood is old blood so it just means your body's doing what its supposed to do cleaning itself out to leave you fresh and new for a new cycle!

Thanks for all your replies. I did think that it was probably my body flushing out any left over blood, but wasn't sure as I didn't have any bleeding yesterday and hardly any the dady before - at least my body seems to be doing its job properly now!
