I found out last Monday that I had a missed miscarriage. I thought I was 12 weeks but the baby had stopped growing at around 7 weeks. I had a D&C one week ago. I have read on here that girls are testing their hormone levels to see if everything is back to normal to try and conceive again.
Do you need a blood test to test this or is there a test that you can do at home like a pregnancy test?
Also, we have started trying again just last night but it all of a sudden occured to me this morning that if my levels have not dropped to non pregnancy state, I wouldn't be able to get pregnant again. Is that right?
I did a urine pregnancy test this morning to see if it would still say I was pregnant and it came up positive. While this is showing up positive, does that mean I can't get pregnant yet?
Sorry so many questions but I just want to start trying again straight away as this was the time of the month we conceived at last time.
I'm where you are. I naturally MC 9 days ago. My tests are faint positives. Pregnancy tests, when they are negative. Your HCG is lower than the ML they test for. They drop at different rates. After the HCG leaves you can use other conception methods. Most women ovulate 14-28 days after a MC. It's almost always a longer cycle and sometimes ovulation doesn't occur before a missed AF. I hope this helps. I'm sorry for your loss.
