HCG levels 4 wks after d/c?? HELP! Please dont r/r :)

Hey! I am 4 wks post d/c for mmc 7wks..... I was wondering when HCG will be zero because I have done a test and gotten a faint BFP. DH had very low sperm count/motility so the chances of this being real are slim to none. I just want to know when AF will come so today is the 1st test I took. My RE did not do any hcgs after the d/c and I dont know what the levels were at that time. Any help please!!

hmm can't be of much help here i guess... except telling you that you could call ur ob/gyn and get a blood test done and check if there is some fetal tissue that remained after the d/c because as long as there is some, hcg may not decrease ((
..but who knows, maybe you just got lucky.. miracles happen when u least expect them!

Sorry for your loss xxx

If you are still testing positive after 4 weeks it would be best to get your HCG's done at the doctors as there could be something left still.

Good Luck xxx

I would just wait another week and take the test again. If it is darker, you're pg. It should come up negative if you aren't. It takes up to 6 weeks for most women to have their hcg go back to zero and get AF.
