Am I having a chemical pregnancy?

Hi everyone.

I have regular 27/28 day cycles but this month I was 4 days late. Previous to this I had pink spotting which is normal for me before a period but this time it stopped and started again.

Now I have come on but it is really heavy. I do experience quite heavy period but TMI here I am changing tampons every 2 hours.

I did a pregnancy test after a day late and 2 days late but negative.

Thanks for any replies

I'm so sorry your going through this uncertainty. It is really so hard to say. hpt can be wrong. And if you're really early along maybe it didn't detect it, but .. I guess you just have to trust yourself. You know your body best, what's normal, what isn't. ...If you're concerned about the blood loss maybe see if a doctor's preg test says differently? Is there any clotting or excessive cramping?

Thanks for replying

No more cramping than I'd normally get. I just am never ever late and it's heavier than normal.

I'm not concerned for my health at the moment as such. Just wondering if it's an early miscarriage.

X

Oh and some dark clots but I normally get some bits like that? Maybe not as much as this though.

Sorry...I'm bad at describing lol

sorry, only you know your body best, no one can tell you if this for sure was a pregnancy... I really say just follow your gut. Uncertainty can be an awful thing. All I can say is your know your body best, and if you feel in your heart you may have lost a little one, it's ok to mourn.

You simply may never know, so I'd trust your own judgement. For me, four days off would be nothing, but it sounds as though it's fairly significant in your cycle.

I guess my question is, how does it feel to you?
