After 5 days of happiness it looks like pregnancy over

I found out I was pregnant on Monday and last night started bleeding. I am so so upset. This is my third mc!!! Why me? I wouldn't wish mc on anyone but I am the only one of any of my friends who has had one. They have all sailed through multiple pregnancies with no problems. Now I have had 3. I don't know what to do. I am devastated. I hadn't even been to my doctor to confirm pregnancy, my appointment is this wednesday. Do I still go? I know it's definitely over as the bleeding is heavy. I can't stop crying.

Have you taken a pregnancy test? Is it negative? If not I would ring the EPU.

If you've had 3 miscarriages you do need to see a doctor x

I'm so sorry that this is happening to you - I've just gone through the same thing last week
Ring your doctor tomorrow & tell them - they may refer you to the EPAU as if it is an MC (there's always a small chance it's not) they will need to check nature is doing this 'properly'
Again I am so sorry. HPT's can be very misleading as HCG MAY stay in your system for WEEKS or disappear within days. At least a blood test can detect the levels xxx big hugs xxx

I will take pregnancy test in a week to confirm its over. I wasn't even 5 weeks pregnant so wouldn't show on scan.

Although this is third mc, I had a daughter with second pregnancy so until I have 3 mc in a row doctors won't be interested!

I had my daughter first and then my miscarriages. Mine was looked into after 2. I had a lovely doctor back then I don't think my doctor now would have been so understanding.

I'm sorry for your loss x

I'm not sure where you live, but is it possible at least, to ask your GP for some basic tests, e.g. thyroid, iron, etc? I was able to persuade my own doctor after my mc (and two possible chemicals) when we were considering IVF and discovered I had an underactive thyroid, ultimately and on the medication, I was able to conceive and hold on in my last pregnancy (LO is now 8wks+). I think it might reassure you that all is well with YOU, especially since you were lucky before....

best wishes and please take care of yourself....
