The thing that I am dreading...

I lost my baby last wednesday. I was told to wait for 14 days and then to do a pregnancy test to make sure everything was gone. I am dreading doing it. I know that sounds stupid. I saw my baby, i know I've bled so much that nothing at all could survive. I know that I am no longer pregnant. i know that I have none of the symptoms I had and yet I am scared of seeing the negative result.
I know I need to as i am not intending to wait for AF before attempting to conceive again.
Why am I being so stu[id. I have another week to go before I do it and it's only peeing on a stick.

I can't imagine what your going through, maybe think of it in a way that you are seeing if your body is healing and it might give you some closure. Its such a hard thing to give advice or views on, I hope your ok and we are here for you.

I was in you exact same position 2 weeks ago wen i had to take my pregnancy test after 14 days, i knew the best thing for the results to be were negative but i so wanted a lil glimmer of hope that something was there, dont beat yourself your not being stupid it all, if you need to talk am here

You are NOT being stupid, unless I am too! I had a d&c Friday, and I cried when I passed the hpt's at the store! My hcg was 21,450 before the surgery, not sure how quickly it will decline. I'm so devastated. Hugs to you!! I feel your pain!
