Hi not havin much luck on this sight keep posting things in the wrong place my iPhone has a mind of its it's own, really sorry for posting in the wrong section.. I found out i was pregnant but i was already spotting and cramping with pains on the left side so was abit worried, it got worse and I went to a and e they thought it may be ectopic so I was put on a drip and had my bloods and examinations, the internal scan showed nothing atall, the bloods were at 1,300. I was allowed home as the pain had eased off and the bleeding had stopped and I was well in myself, had to go back today for more bloods to see if they had doubled ( like a normal pregnancy), gone up slightly ( like an ectopic pregnancy , or fallen (like a misscarage) .. Well unfortunately they've dropped to just over 500 so the pregnancy isn't viable.. Just had Afew questions any help would be much appreciated: at the hospital they said I was 5 weeks but I worked it to 4 and am sure they were wrong with 5 , it is possible they were wrong or more likely ive worked it out wrong? And is 1,300 a high level for 4 weeks? Another question I have only spotted with some red blood but not a lot, my levels have dropped that much does it look like they will be down to normal soon or am I to expect lots of bleeding ? This was not even 1/4 of my normal period so I'm worried I'm going to end up having to have d and c for it? Thanks in advance x

I have just recently had MC i was around 2 n half 3 weeks and my hormone levels were 285 as they double every 48 hrs mine were not as high as they should of been as by the time i found out i was already starting to MC and in 24hrs my hcg level dropped to 35. I didnt really bleed a lot i bleed more in a normal period i just passed a lot of tissue. Hoped this helps and so sorry for you loss x x x

I'm not sure what the norm is but mine was at 21,450 at 7 weeks and dropped to 20,888 48 hrs later, when my mmc was confirmed. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Thanks for your replies, I haven't passed any tissue atall yet so am expecting to end up having to have something medical done, prepare for the worst then ya prepared and anything else is a bonus eh. Sorry for both of your losses too x
