D&C - still in pain

I had a d&c on Friday evening and 3 days later I am still cramping really bad and in a lot of pain, feeling very dizzy, I don't have a lot of energy, purely exhausted!!! I was told after 24 hours I would be able to resume back to normal activities and feeling much better???? Is this normal? What did everyone else experience a few days after they went through this; and I am sorry for anyone else who had to experience a d&c

My d&c was on March 30th (so pretty fresh in mind). I did not experience a lot of pain, like you're describing. Immediately post op (with a great spinal), I had a pain level of about 3 to 4 on the left side of my uterus. Then, I had some cramping, occasionally sharp, but 1 Motrin (800mg) or 1 Vicodin (5/500) completely took the pain away. Were you prescribed any narcotics?

So sorry for your loss!

Eta: I am soooo exhausted too. I was instructed to continue prenatal vitamins. I'm just so tired!!

Sorry for your loss too. I was given vicoden and have been taking them! It seems a little better today, just still tired.
