hi ladies. i keep going back and forth on whether i should be hopeful or whether it's all already over.

Here's the long story, starting with three hcg tests. I got a bfp at 8dpo.

my sense is the third number is low. that blood test was taken thursday and thursday night i had a bit of bright red blood with two tiny clots. tiny tiny. and it was only enough blood for about ten wipes and stopped within five minutes and totally dropped off.

now it's tuesday. did i already miscarry/have a blighted ovum, or is there still hope for me? i am so upset I had a very early mc in september and it took forever to bleed. but back then, my pregnancy tests went negetive within a couple days. that said, i wasnt as far along. i took a few pregnancy tests since thursday. they are still dark. my boobs dont hurt as bad, but the soreness still comes and goes. i never got morning sickness but im still hoping. i have an ultrasound planned for next tuesday. i'll be 7weeks and 2days then. today i am 6weeks and 2days. on friday, i was 5+5 and went to the doctor about the spotting. he did an ultrasound/scan and showed me a gestational sac and said to get another blood test thursday. ladies, what do you think is going on with me. what should i do. am just torturing myself holding on to hope?

if you had a bo or mc at 5/6weeks, can you tell me what your hcg test results were along the way? did you continue to make hcg after mc? did your boobs hurt days after spotting that you believe marked the end? one more detail: i've been temping. my temps got slightly cooler for two days when i had the spotting, but went back up and never went all the way down. tell me anything you can. thanks.

Hey hon, I don't know much, but I do know if your doc gave you a vaginal ultrasound (which it must have been this early) it can cause the little bit of bleeding. And I don't think your third number sounds low at all, hon will be waiting to hear your results!

The bleeding was a day before the vaginal ultrasound. It was a bit more blood than u'd expect from an irritated cervix too. Thanks for the reassurance on the hcg numbers. I just sent my obgyn a note asking her what to do next. Thanks for the support and I'll update u good or bad. Xo

Doesn't seem like there's enough information to discern what has happened or why you bled, but I don't think it sounds like you've miscarried. Wish you the happiest and healthiest!
