miscarriage??

Hi ladies
I'm wondering if you could help me!
I think I had a miscarriage today-went to doc but he was absolutely useless, so I did think I was pregnant and was going to test this weekend! Obviously we know our bodies and I started spotting brown on saturday and it was very light up until this morning! I went to the loo this morning and had very heavy bleeding,bright red with small dark red clots! And the pain I went through was
just unreal, then I started feeling faint and wanted to throw up!! I knew something wasn't right, I went to doc and he did an ultra sound but my bladder wasn't full enough so he couldn't see! But said I probably had a "bad month"!!!
And said I should go on the pill to get my cycles regualr!! What an ass! I probably would of only been 3 maybe 4 weeks at the most!
What do u ladies think?

If you miscarried that early on I would think your flow should be pretty similar to a normal period flow because the egg wouldn't have had much time to build any extra lining of your uterus and you wouldn't have had anything extra to pass. That early on without having tested it would be really hard to tell. I am sorry though, everytime you think you are pregnant and that stick doesn't get two lines it is hard.

I know this sounds horrible but if you take a test now you would probably come up positive if you have miscarried, and the dr should have done a vaginal ultra sound and not just said a "bad month" sometimes I wish men knew the feelings and pain we have to go through.
Have you ever been on any form of birth control before Like the shot or iud? I was told that if you have taken the shot and your off it now but your cycles are irregular you can benefit from doing one cycle of bc pills because it helps your hormones to kick start again

Hi hun, I had a MC in July at 11 weeks, started as very light pink bleeding, went to bed and was getting heavier, it then started to clot. By 7pm that night the pain was horrendous and the clots were bigger. They did an ultrasound and looked like baby had stopped growing at 7-8 weeks, eventhough I took a pregnancy test at 10 weeks and it was positive so it could still happen
