I ordered reusables for my twins, but only 6 nappies to start because i would like to try and make my own.
Is this possible? Is anyone doing this and how easy/difficult is it?

I'd love to have a go at this too, but I don't think I'm brave enough or confident enough in my sewing abilities! If I did decide to do it, I think I'd find a brand I liked, then unpick it and see exactly how it was made. I've just googled it and it seems like a lot of people do make their own. There's loads of links to patterns here http://www.ozclothnappies.org/links.html#sewing

I have tried, and my first attempt was horrible. I need to give it another go.

Here is a great resource.

they have a message board where you can ask questions.

Now all i need is to decided what materials i want to use,i have the cotton fluffles from tots bots and i have to say i'm not a fan .. maybe fleecy ones are better?

Bamboo fibre is ideal if you can get it. It's naturally anti-fungal and anti-bacterial and so silky soft

you could try finding PUL fabric, I and another member have had some difficulty finding it in the UK at a reasonable price. I will be attepting my own and using micro fibre for the soaker pads, good luck xx
