Safe way to carry in a woven?




Skip to 1:15 to watch her 'load' her child into the wrap. I was wondering if this is a safe, legitimate way to tie a woven wrap with 20lbs+ of baby. Wanted to ask before I pop to the fabric store. Thanks!

I wouldn't use that position for long. It's a way of holding them in to nurse, but it's not ideal for any length of time if you're not nursing them. Upright, tummy to tummy, legs out and in a deep 'm' position is what you want for everyday use

It's not handy for long periods to carry in that position, but I prefer this one:
