Vacation with cloth wipes?

We are going to Toronto in two weeks. I have decided to do disposables during our one week trip because we will be traveling around quite a bit and won't be able to get them to dry.

Disposable wipes give Finn a rash. Also, I hate them. Haha! Is there a way to do cloth wipes while traveling? I don't know if I will be able to use a washing machine. Can I hand wash them reliably?

You could buy some sanitary wipes (you can get dry ones) and just bring whatever wipe solution you use in a spray bottle. You could even find a soft roll of paper towel, cut it in half and use that!

Is it all disposable wipes? I'm not sure what you can get there but here we have Jackson Reece which were always good on my LO's skin which reacted to other brands, or Water Wipes which are really just wipe and water! I wouldn't want to handwash wipes TBH, they get the worst of every nappy!

You could maybe use cotton wool and water? Or some disposable liners say they can be used as wipes too, I can't think of the brand I've seen that say that but I'll try and remember.

Thanks ladies

I used Pampers Naturals and the Huggies natural ones too.

I think I will do paper towels and water, that sounds like the easiest.

Thanks again for your help

Maybe try conti-soft and water. They are much softer than paper towels and don't leave threads like cotton wool x

I am not sure what that is I live in Canada, actually, rural Newfoundland, and I don't think I will be able to get that around here.

I will check to see if I can find some diaper liners that I can use as wipes when I get to Toronto, but until I can get out to a store (going to a baby store the day after we get there) there I will need something.

Maybe I will give cotton wool a try before we go.

Try GDiaper's wipes, Earth's Best wipes or Seventh Gen wipes, they are a rating of 0 on ewg.com/skindeep , 3rd party toxicity testers, 0 is considered absolutely harmless. I'd be more than willing to bet it's all the shit that they put into the wipes that breaks your son out

Thanks! I'll have a look for them when we go shopping there. All I can get here is Pampers, Huggies, or Life Brand.

Haven't read all the responses but my vote would be bring some cloth and a water bottle for pee changes, and some eco friendly disposable ones for poops
