Cloth diaper + circumcision

Hello all!

I will be cloth diapering my baby and I also plan on having him circumcised. My one friend said you can't use cloth on a circumcised baby because the cream you put on it will ruin your diapers? Is this true? Have any of you circumcised and used cloth? What did you use to help it heal??

Thanks for any help!

dont know anything about circumcision but if u use a fleece liner any sort of cream will only be in contact with the liner not the nappy so wouldnt ruin your nappies

You can buy some fleece liners that will help stop the creams leeching into the nappy. It'll be fine!

It also depends on which way they circ him, if it's plastibell you don't need creams...but 1 of my boys had that and 2 traditional, I would def request them to do it traditionally (just cutting it and you use vaseline and gauze). I would think it would be fine because you put the guaze over the vaseline so it protects the diaper but if not fleece liners would work great
