Thinking of trying re-usables for my newborn

I just need advice. My little girl is around 3.4 kilos. My re-usables that #I have are for 5kilos above. I would like to find something that I can use from the weight she is now. Is there any ideas of what I could use? Has anyone used Muslin squares? Are these ok to use and are they absorbent? Shall I wait a little longer until she's put on a bit more weight and grown? Any advice is greatfully apreciated.

You could look at Teenyfits, or small BG nappies? I think BG do an extra-small size, though someone who has used them from birth could probably answer that better than I can!

We changed to cloth after a few weeks, and used Ebay cheapie BTP nappies. We were changing so often at that point that it was fine just using one insert, and on the smallest setting.

3.4 kilos is about 7.5lbs isn't it? I think most one-size nappies are supposed to work from 8lbs so you could try those, or look into sized nappies. Lil Joeys are supposed to fit from 4lbs and look teeny so may be worth a look.
