You had me worried b/c I have mine pre-washing now with vinegar! I found a couple articles that recommended it though... again I am new to the whole thing but I thought that I have read a few times it was a way to avoid specialty detergents, detergent build up, and keep them soft. It also recommends to add baking soda when they become smelly with the vinegar.

BG recommends not using vinegar but of course they say to only use their brand detergent! They do say to use Dawn dish soap, bleach, and a few hot water rinses to get out detergent build up. I would hate to use bleach though! But they say its ok.

Hth, not to overload anyone with links/articels. Definately a learning experience for me too!

Have you run your WM empty recently on hot? I ran mine on 90 cycle with 2 tablespoons of White vinegar in the drawer and it seems much better...
