Hi it's me again, I feel like I'm always here lately!

So, I think I want a woven sling for LO.

These are my reasons - please correct me if I'm mistaken and add any comments or advice

1. I had him in a baby bjorn up until he was about 6 months exclusively (yes I know all about the hoo ha he was on my front and facing in...) and loved it, then he got a little fed up of it. I don't want another structured carrier - want something sof.

2. I like the look of the Moby but, he's a toddler and I'm under the impression that the woven slings are better for older babies as the moby wraps and similar are too stretchy.

3. I want to carry him on my hip sometimes, for short hops.

4. I want a wrap that will distribute the weight well as I'm ttc at the mo so want to be able to back carry and hip carry comfortably when preggers.


I'd love you ladies to share your experiences - I'm interested to know how much use I'd get out of it now that Ethan is 20months.

Do any of you know the cheapest place to buy, or where to pick up a preloved one?

Also, I'm a sz 16 with a toddler so would I need a 7?

Sounds like you do need a woven

You could get buy with a 6 or 7, maybe even a 5. Natural Mamas and The BabyWearer have a great section for pre-loved wraps, mostly woven. You can also go on the website to the brands you like and see if they have any 2nd hand wraps or other specials.
