Ergo vs BabyHawk Mei Tai

Hi ladies. I have difficulty to decide between Ergo classic/sport and the BabyHawk Mei Tai.
What do you like about yours? And if you could choose, which one it will be?

Thanks!

Honestly I would go with Boba instead. That is going to be around the same price as an Ergo, but in my opinion it's more comfortable. I have 2 Ergos and 2 Bobas and Boba is my favorite SSC.

I'd go with a mei tai over a SSC. I have a BH and love it; it's really comfy and easy to use. I don't have an Ergo but I have a Rose & Rebellion which is the same kind of idea. I do love the R&R too but the BH is my first choice usually and it can be used from birth without an insert.

ETA - it's superficial I know but I prefer the look of mei tais too. They look kind of arty/a bit hippy, whereas SSCs can look quite like Baby Bjorns and I get BB parents looking at me like "oooh we're in the same club" but we're NOT! Yeah I'm a carrier snob. If only wraps didn't make me too hot!

I prefer my boba to my ergo as well, it's a bit higer in the body, so it tucks LO closer to my body and puts less strain on my shoulders.

What all these girls said ^^ is there any way to attend a sling meet near you to try them on? What about a local store?

Here's the pic of the ergo I told you about

I LOVE the mei tai more every day : I just popped it on so I could get on with housework, and Robin watched everything I did fascinated, and got to meet the kitties - and has now fallen asleep just in time for me to have my breakfast!
