HELP! BLW arguments with DH...he thinks it's a load of rubbish!

Hello! With my son we were not aware of BLW...and I suggested it to hubby, he seems to think it's weird and that this baby will not be eating properly and will be picky etc, I told him that BLW babies are better eaters then non BLW babies, but it's not working. Can I have links to research etc please???

http://www.babyledweaning.com/ has a lot of information, even if he's not convinced as long as he's not totally against it you should go for it as there's no harm in trying it and the proof of seeing it work with his own eyes might help convince him otherwise.

Tell him that you're doing BLW. If he wants to puree, HE can and he can spoon feed LO

No link but it's been in the paper in the last week positive stuff so maybe a google will find it? (on my phone sorry!)

I converted hubby by appealing to the man in him - cave men ate steak without a blender ;-)))))

Our LO got off to an outwardly appearing slow start but at 18.5 months he has a fabulous healthy range of foods and regulates his own appetite brilliantly x

Get the Gill Rapley Baby led weaning book, and both read it, then decide.

Once he really understands what BLW is, ie not just the simplified version of "eat finger foods and become a great eater," then he can make an informed decision. I haven't read the links other people posted but in general I find a lot of stuff on the internet about "BLW" is written by people (maybe in a forum like this?!?!) who don't really know what it is they're talking about and aren't really talking about Gill Rapley's BLW anyway. So what they say is useless. (Check in the Weaning section, there are loads of threads about BLW on there and it is amazing the amount of people (claiming to be experts) who mix traditional and BLW, when this is actually, according to the Gill Rapley book, impossible!)

PS- is this the most times GILL RAPLEY has been said in one post?!
