woven wrap only

Since buying my woven I'm considering selling my stretchy wrap. Is there any reason I should keep the stretchy for another possible baby? I'd rather not have too many redundant baby things in our basement if I can help it. I just don't want to regret my decision if we have another baby.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to sell our moby, but keep the other stretchy wrap (boba) in case we have another. I do really like the stretchiness for newborns - and also that you can pre-tie and pop them in and out easily. So I'll sell that one once we're sure there's no more kiddos in the picture.

Well once I'm sure - OH thinks he's already sure, but I'm working on that!

I loved it for our newborn too. maybe I'll see if anyone at my local babywearer group wants to borrow it in the meantime. It could be YEARS before we have another I still haven't forgotten how LO came out!

My stretchy wrap is long gone. I love woven wraps with newborns just as much as stretchies. I really don't mind not pre-tieing as a newborn is less likely to want to come out as an older baby who wants to walk/crawl everywhere. I'm just as in love with my old stretchy wrap as I am with wovens.

I've saved my Moby for 'the next baby' and it will be at least 4 years now until we can TTC again...

Maybe I'll just keep it. I love my woven and I was thinking that maybe I can negotiate buying a shortie if I sell my stretchy. I can use the shortie in a cradle carry if we do have another. I'm still around 50/50 on having another child.

IMO I would go ahead and sell the stretchy.

I kept my stretchy wrap after ds1, but I never used it for ds2. I just went straight to woven.
