On what do you sleep?

Yes, its the mattress and the bed But I am interested to know about options such as bio mattresses etc, does anyone use them for regular sleep?

I have read recently that the metal inside the usual mattress can cause some health issues.

I was looking for better options and economical one. So found some mattress with coconut fillings , etc but read that its not for regular use for sleep.

We used buchwheat bio mattresses. These mattresses are a bit harder than the usual ones. So as I got pregnant I thought I would need " softer " mattress due to my increasing weight and discomfort, so we got usual ones from Ikea. And then I read in one book that the metal inside the mattresses is not very healthy for pregnant women !

I sleep well on an ordinary foam mattress with no springs, but I have added a thin, woollen mattress on top of it, just under the sheets. It makes the bed more breathable, and wool doesn´t preserve moisture or odors.
As a pillow I have one that is filled with millet husk only. An absolute favorite!

We have a latex foam mattress. The cover is bamboo fabric. We love it!
