Like jen ^ said really.. in Devon they seem to like to promote it! and you get 20% off.. any nappies as long as you have proof of purchase .. the only nappies you dont get discount from are ebay cheapies.

Which is great really just an excuse to buy more lovely nappies!

Not promoted here at all (I'm an Aussie), I've used cloth nappies with both my children from birth. Started with bought nappies (bumgenius and baby beehinds) but now make my own which are even better lol

Not promoted here either although I'm doing my best to! I've met other cloth using parents at the Children's centre but mainly through the slingmeet. I'm putting the word about though and ALWAYS change him in the middle of the room so everyone can see
Hopefully my new nappy business will put Herefordshire on the cloth nappy map I may hound the council.

Not as far as I know. We dont have a money back scheme either. I have converted one mum to them though (Although I dont think she washes them correctly) and I gave loads of info to another.

Everyone thought I was mad for using them, but they all think they are cute and a good idea now. My nan used to use them but they were terry and rubber pants (Which is what my nan and mum thoughts id be putting Amara in)

nope, not at all. actually a lot of people kind of look at it wondering what the heck it is, and when I tell them, they give me a funny look, as if I'm nuts for doing it. I don't mind though, I love cloth diapers and will never go back

I run the cloth nappy antenatal class at the Surestart Centre, but anything by the council doesn't exist. Just up the road in Plymouth, though, there seems to be a lot going on with Jen and her merryband! It winds me up the difference between councils; grrrr. There are so many mums that use them though, round here; it's great!

Oh, and when I was pregnant where I used to live, there was NO-ONE who did anything about cloth nappies; I just took the plunge and ordered a bit of everything and hoped for the best... No-one else used them, and the HV didn't even know they existed. Not helpful.
