We got our bednest from eBay for £170 - and just sold it on there again for £200

We have a Cossato side car cot. My baby still prefers being right in my bed though! I think the full sized cots like the one I have are best as they are big enough to be used for years. They are cots where one side slides under. We got ours from a local baby shop. It's this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B001...dir_mdp_mobile

If I did it all again though I would buy a queen sized bed and the cosleeper. The more room the better!

We got the Mothercare bedside cot, it's a full size one and can later be used as a normal cot with 4 sides. To make the mattress fit tightly against ours I did have to get a strip of foam to squeeze down the other side, have also tied it to our bed frame with bungee cord. I find it really good because I can shuffle over a bit to feed him lying down in the middle of the night rather than have to bring him closer to me in our bed.

I used a bed nest, bought it from eBay and sold it on again for essentially what I paid for it. Just had to buy a new mattress. I think if I have another one I might go for a slightly bigger bedside cot though, as fatboy outgrew the bednest slightly before we were prepared to stop co-sleeping. But for a small space it's brilliant!

We just sidecarred a regular cot. It can turn into a toddler bed if she decides to stop sleeping near us before it's time for a regular bed or a seat.

We also sidecarred a regular cot for DD. But she never spent any time in it as to her co-sleeping meant sleeping right next to mummy. This time we didn't bother and just put our bed against the wall and DS sleeps in our bed. We do have a superking size bed though.
