How many wraps do I need?

I've got some standard 60cm terry squares and some 50cm Nature Babies Terry squares (which are thicker) and after posting on here have been advised that Motherease wraps are the best ones to go for, but how many do I need of each size?

I'd just buy a couple in the first size you need until you know you like them. Definitely don't buy enough to last to potty training! For a newborn, you could need four per day but probably less.

I've bought 3 size small and three size medium all airflow and all from ebay so I have not spent too much.

I'm just wondering how many I will really need. I don't want to have to be putting the baby in disposables just because I've run out of wraps but obviously don't want to be getting to many either.

What are people's experiences of the airflow vs the rikki wraps?

I wouldn't think you'd run out as long as you're happy to wash them every day at first. With terries or fitted nappies, you will hopefully contain any poo in the nappy rather than it getting on the wrap so two would be fine, alternated throughout the day (or just wiped out and reused straight away), but a third would be good for emergencies! If you wash them overnight, they will be dry by morning. If you did run out, you could easily hand wash one and hang it to dry - it would be dry very quickly.

Most people seem to manage easily with 5 wraps. The Nature Babies ones are excellent with terries, (well with all nappies actually!) and they do a onesize one now, which is a much better alternative to sized ones. Really efficient as well, and some lovely prints.
