Anyone Else Try This?

So I am sure that this sounds completely bonkers to some, but I was interested in pumping a whole lot of breastmilk and then making some bm cheese for DD to eat. Has anyone else tried this? Any recipes to share?

I didn't actually think you could make cheese from breastmilk, something to do with the composition of it not turning to cheese properly? I may be wrong though. I know you can make icecream and other milk food though.

ETA - Oh well apparently you can! I wouldn't though, I would just use it in place of milk, probably as ice lollies, rather than making it cheesy.

ice lollies are a great idea for teething.

I was looking over a recipe for bm cheese, and it seems rather particular. Maybe something only an experienced cheese maker could do, but not me

I don't make enough milk to contemplate doing something with the extra (no extra here), but maybe you could make BM yoghurt or kefir? I've also heard about texture problems with making BM products, but some ladies do it without issue! x

I've done yoghurt before and that is pretty easy. I just used the recipe of making yoghurt form Crunchy Betty and just used breastmilk in place of cows milk. The first time, not so great. The second time worked much better because I used a thermometer.
