Alright I'm so angry right now. My OH's sister watched Nevaeh for two hours yesterday afternoon while we went out. We didn't want to take her hopping from store to store because it was raining out. So we get back and his sister tells me that I NEED to stop using cloth diapers because she gets "too wet" in them. She said this because she leaked thru in 2 hours... but she gave her 6 CUPS of juice. Wtf? Why does she need 6 cups in 2 hours... of course she's going to leak thru, she would've leaked in a sposie too... and then she says cloth is giving her sores on her but. Yup, she has one bugbite... obviously not caused by cloth. Seriously she's so stupid

Well we left and OH goes over later and tells her she needs to stop telling me what to do.. and she blows up in his face!! She goes on yellling at tells him I'm a shit mother and if I don't stop using cloth she's going to call DHS and have Nevaeh taken away from me!!! Then she goes on to say I always pawn Nevaeh off on people and I'm just shit.. I have a babysitter take her every other weekend while I'm at work all night long and occasionally me and OH go out.. what's so wrong about that? Besides for every other weekend I'm with her all day every day.. don't I deserve a break?? Besides I'm always watching her son for hours on end while she blows her money at the casino..

Honestly, let her call.. What she gonna say "OH, i was babysitting my sisters kid, gave her 6 cups of juice and she was very wet in her cloth diaper..."... DHS is just gonna laugh and say well why did u give her 6 cups of juice, and if she is so wet why didnt u change her sooner... Clearly its a lack of her using her head..

I hate people like that... She just needs a big old slap.

I hope what she has said is not upsetting you too much, by the sounds of it she doesn't sound worthy of worrying about!

That's alright , I got DHS threatened on me in a more subtle way yesterday by the health office when I took Isiah to be weighed. They told me that because he was on goat's milk that it is "Medical Neglect" ((Even though he's on goat's milk to gain weight because he just kept losing with my breastmilk..Which I explained)) . I laughed inside.
If your pediatrician / family practitioner doesn't mind then DHS can't do shit, I will tell you that right now. Your pediatrician / practitioner will get in more beef than you if they actually DO find a problem with it -- which they won't.
And don't worry yourself over your sister-in-law, my in-laws openly said on facebook that I was immature and that there was no way I could raise my child, but I'm proving them wrong And my hubby doesn't think any differently of me because of the way his family views me.
So don't worry, it will be okay sweetheart
