Need Suggestions Folding Terry Nappies

Hiya

I use terry nappies (mostly) and use the origami (a triangle with extra padding in the middle) fold for my 8 week old son but tbh as he's a big chunky boy (12 pounds!) it doesnt seem to fit him anymore or at least it seems to fit badly.

So, my question is; is it the fold that is wrong as in i need to change it? If so, to what? Or do i need a larger size of terries? The ones i got seem to be fairly standard (60cm i think)... Ive checked on YouTube and im doing it right albeit it never looks as neat as when put on the teddies and dolls

Any ideas?

There are some good folds here - http://www.terrynappies.co.uk/foldin...ml?page_type=9

I have 60cm terries and the origami one does seem pretty small to me, although my LO is quite a bit bigger than yours. The best I've found for her so far is the 'neat nappy' one on those instructions.

I used the origami fold when they were tiny, but then moved onto the kite, which fitted tight through then, although you will need 2 nappy nippas instead if 1 after a while (1 each side)

We use the origami still and Billys around 22lbs. I just pull the padded bit down a bit when it's folded to lengthen it. It fits him fine then, and we have the standard size.

I still use the origami on Imogen...are you sure you have 60cm terries? My 50cm newborn terries stopped working around 8 weeks. I do tug the bottom point down a bit to adjust the fit on Mog, and the three ends hardly cross over any more, but it works fine on fatboy without much adjustment, and he's enormous.

There's a video on here somewhere I did of Imogen going into an origami fold terry if you want to take a peek.
