Outgrown Beco Butterfly, what next?

OH really loves carrying Imogen in the Beco Butterfly, but the body of it is too short and narrow for her now we'd like something similar but toddler sized. He didn't like the ergo, and he wouldn't do tying, so we need something with a padded waistband, buckles and a chest strap that will fit a largish but not heavy toddler. Was thinking rose and rebellion?

I wish we had a toddler R&R. We have a baby one which I love for E but L is too big for it. That's definitely the one I'd go for if I was buying a toddler carrier.

I'm a terrible spendthrift and ordered a Pre school r and r last night. Lovely lady is making one up in autumn walk specially for me I really really liked the look of the pattern. Now how to work out which carriers I'm selling to pay for it. We have a little life convertible backpack that I think may have to go, and I'm not sure there's any point keeping the Beco as I don't really get on with it and use the connecta. I've got a hotsling which i never use too so hopefully I won't have spent a terribly naughty amount of money once all that is taken into account...

Wow! Littlelife carrier went in less than 24 hours! For £55 Must get some more stuff on, but that's half the cost already. I'd forgotten how much fun it is selling stuff on eBay [goes and rummages around for the bag of Mamaway breastfeeding tops to flog\].

Is it wrong that I'm now contemplating buying a baby RnR because they're so darn cute? OH wouldn't let me order 'The Saint' for him, but I could get it for myself...

you can always look on Slings and Things FSOT and advice group on Facebook, or FSOT board on Natural Mamas.
I was going to suggest a Manduca but I'm late to this thread. What size is your DD? We have a Beco Butterfly which DH uses and not sure how long to expect it to last.

Imogen is pretty big - she just had a growth spurt, so she weighs 28lb and she's suddenly quite tall. What did it for the Beco was that it was digging in on her legs because so much of her legs is hanging out. If she was more compact, it probably would be ok weight wise. What I liked about the RnR pre-school carrier was the extended base to support their legs, and a higher back, as the Beco wasn't making it up to her armpits any more. We couldn't get the sleep hood on her anymore either.
