I am so excited about this. I had been making the powder kind but this time I dared the liquid and I made just nearly 8 quarts!!! That's 64 loads!!!! I used: 1/2 cup borax, 1/2 cup washing powder and 1/2 bar of natural olive oil soap, plus water. Here's the recipe I used. http://www.thefamilyhomestead.com/laundrysoap.htm You let it sit overnight and it gels a bit. Next time I shall add some different frangrances.  Try it! |
