Fleece soakers... or minky?

Um I suppose you could. I'm not sure that minkee is stretchy enough to use as a soaker though, you might not be able to pull it up like pants, you may need to add snaps at the sides. Fleece is quite stretchy in one direction but not sure whether minkee is - our minkee nappies don't seem so.

I can't see why it wouldn't if you had two layers, but I've never seen anybody do it before so maybe it won't? Only one way to find out!

Did you give it a try?
I made some longies out of minky, but not as a soaker, just something to use up my minky! The waistband is the only bit that needs improving for sizing as the stretch isn't enough. Might need to unpick... Or think of a way to improve the fit without needing to unpick as stitches are very smal!!
Would love to know how you got on though. x

You can reuse fleece? I always wash after one wear.

I'm glad it worked for you!

I tend to reuse fleece until it seems like it needs a wash e.g. I would happily have LO in fleece longies all day, as long as I change the nappy before it gets soaking wet on the outside. I'd use fleece overnight for 14 hours so I don't think there's any difference really.

Oh I only use them at night lol. Was gonna say they're stinky when I take them off!
