Argh, that's it! He's in a sposie for the night :(

Me and oh have had it with LO being soaked through every morning - so tonight he's in an Eco sposie

We've had night nappy issues since the start but thought we'd cracked it with LL bamboo or cotton nappies with booster and motherease airflow wrap, or bambinex teddy nappy with LL booster and same wrap. But now even with these on he's wetting through

He's 7mths and just under 16lbs, being long and skinny. I'm waiting for some size 2 LL from eBay as the size 1 are getting pretty tight. We will try those when they arrive but if they don't work I don't know what we'll do.... I've been thinking of trying something like holdens landing or WNNN but oh will be reluctant to spend more money, especially as we've just bought the LLs

We use motherease shaped terries during the day but do have some boosters that snap into these - worth trying at night? He tends to soak through the nappies in 2-3hrs during the day so I haven't bothered before....

Honestly, I think you just need to get some night nappies. Little Lambs work for some people, fairly light wetters, but you'd have to boost them ridiculously to make them last for a heavier wetter than that. Are they the ME OS you have? You could try two nappies together, a LL with a stay dry liner, then a ME OS over the top with as many boosters as you can fit in between the two nappies. That would probably work if you can boost it enough. It won't matter if the second nappy gapes at the legs because the first will contain any poos/fountains of wee.

I haven't been using cloth nappies for long (1.5 months maybe?) but think we have got the nights sorted now (haven't had any leaks for several weeks now, and LO sleeps up to 14 hours at night).

The 2 nappies that seem to do the trick for us are just a bog standard Totsbots Easyfit and Bambino Miosolo, both boosted with a Bambino Mioboost (got these when I bought the first Miosolo to try out and found they are super absorbent) and also a standard bamboo booster. So with the built in insert attached to the nappies, I suppose there are 3 layers in total.

My LO is long and skinny too, and this combination just seems to really suit him and do the trick. During the day he can leak through a normal pocket/AIO with booster in a couple of hours.

We only started night time cloth this week but so far so good. We've been using a LL bamboo with one full length LL bamboo booster and one folded up front inside and another booster full length between the nappy and wrap, and then a LL fleece liner on top next to his skin. We're using a Blueberry coverall at the moment, as it's the only one I have that I can get a fit I am happy to chance all night with.

He's in a sposie tonight though as my Blueberry has just come out of the machine. My RNW mission is to get a couple more wraps and hopefully a dedicated night nappy to try, as Ollie can pee for England.

I've been trying them all! H/L BB didn't work for us bought pre loved and sold on for the same as what I paid, WNNN again pre loved works fab but quite bulky on my skinny LO, itti bitti boo works great and have even used ebay cheapy boosted with charcoal bamboo. Oh and a fab nappy I tried green panda nappies and was great for night and they are pretty reasonable.
There are some great FB pages where you can get pre loved nappies at reasonable prices and you can get one and see if it works for you if not sell it on again.
I have found though certain nappies resell for not much less than when you buy new but it's cos they are good!

Blimey, he's got a big enough bum with the one LL nappy . I think you're right about proper night nappies....I've wanted to look into them before, but got really confused with how to actually buy things like WNNN. Am now looking for preloved ones on well known other forum
The size 2 LL arrived today too, so gonna try those and hope for the best.

In another sposie tonight....

Wow - that's one boosted nappy you've got there! Sounds like our LO are similar big wetters... Never thought of putting booster between nappy and wrap mind you, our previously fail safe wrap was the airflow so too loose to do that with. Interesting idea to fold the booster more up front too.

I also have struggled with the nights and my mega pee'er untill i started using a wool cover instead of the pul wraps, bloody marvlous. Now our night stash for my very big boy are 2 wnnn, 3 cotton sandys boosted with ll bamboo bosters between the nappy and wool cover. I also used to use ll bamboo nappies but they just are too small on my boy but they worked well with the wool.

It wouldn't have occurred to me either, a friend told me that's how she did it

I'll be honest, we gave up with our LO as he was a heavy wetter and used sposies at night. I know its not ideal, but it was a compromise we had to make. I did look into getting a WNNN, but never got round to it, but thats what everyone suggested to me.HTH
