What sling would you buy with £30?

Hello ladies, hope you don't mind me popping in!

I need a carrier/sling for newborn - 6months ish. I won't be full-time baby wearing but will babywear around the house whenever I need hands free for toddler and also to toddler groups. I will probably mainly be using double pram for out and about. It needs to be something comfy for baby to sleep in.

I would prefer something that could also be used to discreetly breastfeed.

I have a Palm and Pond Mei Tai. I bought it for my toddler but I find her too heavy for me to carry. She's only 21lbs but I'm only 5ft and about 6stone!! I will probably use this once baby is a few months old but I would prefer something to cradle hold the baby to my chest from newborn. I also have a Premaxx baby bag which I now know are dangerous but I could use it as hip seat once baby older (or just bin it?).

I have looked at either a Victoria Slinglady stretchy wrap (I had one of these for LO but never got on with it - I couldn't get it tied right and always had to take it off after 10/15mins) or a Ring Sling. I love the look of ring slings and think the panel could be really good for breastfeeding and it would be easier than a wrap but I'm not sure how good a ring sling is and I can't really find anything for less than £30!

Ideas?

Moby?

Eta - ignore if you can't get the hang of wrapping. Maybe try and get a preloved caboo close parent carrier? I've loved ours.

I'd have a look on Natural Mamas and maybe post an ISO. Preloved is great

I couldnt' get the hang of wrapping at all

I am a size 4-6 and I think that's half the problem, the wrap just disappears on me and it all scrunched up and I couldn't spread the weight out! I have been offered a Close Parent carrier but reckon I'd have the same issue? Hence why I thought a small sized ring sling could be better?

I'm not sure whether to give a Stretchy Wrap another shot and I could also probably buy a cheap ring sling as a back up (or maybe for quickness putting on at toddler groups etc.) and still be near my £30.

On the plus side I tried my Mei Tai again last night and managed to get a decent high back carry, going to try LO in it today. It's hard because I'm so small I can't get it tight enough round my waist as the little bit of padding gets in the way of tieing the knot!

I am thinking of a freedom ring sling now. I don't need something super comfy or for hardcore baby wearing! Just something that I can pop on/off quickly at toddlers groups for breastfeeding and still being up and able to chase toddler around. Then I have the Mei Tai which I can use on walks if I really need to! I decided today that my toddler is too naughty to behave in public and I will need a double pram and both hands free but still want the sling mainly for cluster feeding in the first few weeks!

yeah slings are so handy at toddler group. Scarlett sleeps in the moby the whole time.

tbh if i was your size and had that problem with wrapping, id probably head to ikea and get some Bomull fabric and make my own wrap! that way you can make it whatever width and size u want! 1.59/metre, cant beat it
