Mayim Bialik - natural parenting article

Hi all, just wanted to share a link to an article about actress Mayim Bialik

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar....html#comments

Think she raises some great points about natural parenting and I for one was interested to see a celebrity like her (and PhD!!) who encourages such a non-materialistic view :-)

wow at the comments. They are really anti-parental attachments and breastfeeding, aren't they?

Hmm not sure about the tone of the piece. Way it was written showed the author's preconceived opinions of the book.
Get the book! It's a good read, nice to have your parenting style validated with science

Sorry about that it is the daily mail - we UK readers have learnt to disregard the headline and the comments, but I loved her quotes and thought I'd post them!

I'm very new to the ideas, TTC and if I get my BFP on Saturday will be buying her book

Btw if you check out the "top rated" comments the majority are in favour I would say! Natural parenting is rarely given a spotlight in the UK!

Can anyone recommend other further reading on this to me?

I've read her book and I love it. It's not really a parenting book, just what she has done with her children which is AP.

I guess I'm late, I was so surprised to find out about what she's like in real life, love her in Big Bang Theory!

So different from so many celebs who have a team of nannies and are out partying a week after the birth! Inspiration
