Little lambs

I have size 1 little lamb bamboo nappies and I've just noticed that every time I take the wrap off the nappy is wet on the outside - soaked right thru. LO is 7 weeks old and I notice this even when he hasn't had the nappy on for dry long. Is this normal? Or am I doing something wrong? It doesn't see to bother him but it makes me feel bad

That's what you want to happen! You want the wee to be on the outside of the nappy next to the wrap, away from LO's skin. If it was soggy on the inside next to LO's skin that's when you'd be worried about it

Thanks for your reply. I just can't believe how wet it feels so quickly. I thought I'd broken them somehow 😄

Are you using fleece liners? That will help the wet stay away from his skin.

Fleece liners are great, we use LLs bamboo at night and the fleece liner keeps his bum nice and dry. Believe me, Ollie lets us know if he can feel any wet lol.

Yup totally normal! And like Rachel said, just what you want Fitteds don't have a waterproof layer on the outside of the nappy in the same way others might and that's why they require a waterproof cover, so you don't get leaks on your bubba's clothes.

Echo the other girls too on fleece liners!

Yes we're using fleece liners - those things are amazing.
